Course Highlights
Level A.1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) builds on the foundations of A.1.1, helping learners strengthen their basic language skills and manage familiar situations in daily life. At this stage, learners expand their vocabulary to cover a wider range of everyday topics, practice more complex grammatical structures to form longer and clearer sentences, and gain the ability to hold simple conversations beyond basic introductions. They can describe people and objects, ask and answer questions to obtain information, and communicate about familiar subjects in routine contexts. Listening comprehension improves as learners begin to understand frequently used phrases and expressions related to immediate needs, such as personal details. In short, Level A.1.2 represents a step forward in becoming more comfortable with the basics—moving from a beginner who can only introduce themselves to one who can interact more fully in everyday situations.
